I'm Seeing Red
SplitcoastStampers offered a Scrapbooking Challenge with a focus on color.
This challenge was to use a color that doesn't necessarily go with the normal events. Usually when you think of red you think of Valentine's Day, Love, 4th of July, Christmas or even Veterans Day.
I must admit it wasn't one of my normal color to pick up and use so I enjoyed this challenge. It took me out of my comfort zone and allowed me to scrap these fun pictures of Licorice, my cute Chihuahua.
We all have those hodgepodge of photos and this was a perfect layout to get them scrapped. I printed my photos on a 4x6 contact sheet of four photos to give me the white border perfect for this layout. I used some great red DSP from Stampin UP! white ribbon and red ink and I was done. Well almost. I had to threw in a touch of green and pink to balance off the layout. I hope you enjoy it.

Paper: Really Red and Pixie Pink DSP Whisper White and Basic Black
Stamps: Eastern Bloom
Ink: Really Red
Accessories: Clip, White Ribbon, Leaf punch, Corduroy Buttons, Brads, Buttons, Crystal Effects, Dazzling Diamonds, Top Note Big Shot Die
Happy Scrapping and Stamping,

I love how you did the challenge. The layout is really neat! Cute puppy. :)
Can't wait to see what's next.
Lovely page! Licorice is so adorable! I love the red - I love using it on my pages of the kids. Its such a bright, vibrant color. Here is looks really good with the kiwi accents but it doesn't make it look holiday-ish, kwim?! Love it - I know I'll be casing your work often lol!
Cute pooch and great page! Way to take on the challenge.
